It all started in 1979 on a trip to the Sugar Bowl........
1/1/1980 Sugar Bowl - Alabama 24-Arkansas 9
Little did I know at this time how many Bowl
losses I was going to experience

12/27/1984 Liberty Bowl- Auburn 21-Arkansas 15
Bo Jackson held to only 88 yards rushing, but we still lose.

1/1/1987 Orange Bowl
Oklahoma 42-Arkansas 8
Oklahoma gets its revenge for the 1978 Orange Bowl. The farthest I drove and the worst loss of any of the Bowls I've gone too. Maybe there is a distance to opponents point score issue I need to consider.

12/29/1987 Liberty Bowl- Georgia 20-Arkansas 17
I like these short drives. Georgia Rallies in the fourth quarter, we only lost by three points.
1/2/1989 Cotton Bowl - UCLA 17-Arkansas 3
Troy Aikman struts his stuff in
Dallas and spoils the Hogs return to the Cotton Bowl for the first
time in 13 years.

1/1/1990 Cotton Bowl
Tennessee 31 - Arkansas 27
568 yard of total offense and we still can't win a bowl game that I go to. Exciting game!!

12/29/1991 Independence Bowl
AKA Poulan/Weedeater Bowl
Georgia 24 - Arkansas 15
5 Arkansas Interceptions, Great Fireworks

1/1/1999 Citrus Bowl
Michigan 45 - Arkansas 31
Two interceptions returned
for touchdowns by Michigan.
Hogs lose by 14, go figure.

1/1/2002 Cotton Bowl
Oklahoma 10 - Arkansas 3
10:30 kick-off and FREEZING Cold.

12/30/2002 Music City Bowl
Minnesota 29 - Arkansas 14
Whipped by
Gophers!!!

12/31/2003 Independence Bowl
Arkansas 27 - Missouri 14
OK, OK The Hogs Finally win one for me.
Only the second bowl victory in 18 years!!!

1/1/2007 Capitol One Citrus Bowl
Wisconsin 17 - Arkansas 14
BY FAR the worst Bowl loss I have experienced. The Razorback's Defense Holds the Badgers to -5 yards rushing and we still lose!! Coach Nutt gives in to Mom's wishes and plays the Freshman quarterback. We Drove 2100 Miles for this!!!

01/01/2008 Cotton Bowl
Missouri 38 - Arkansas 7

Hogs outmanned from the opening drive in this game. Tony Temple rushes for 281 yards, 4 touchdowns and a Cotton Bowl Record. Another cold Game in Dallas. Tickets only $5.00

01/02/2010 Liberty Bowl
Hogs 20 Pirates 17- OT
Hogs win on a VERY cold night in Memphis. Hogs go 0 for 13 in 3rd down conversions and still win this one. Alex Tejada kicks a 37 yard field goal in overtime to win. We bought 5 tickets for $20.

AllState
Sugar Bowl
January 4, 2011
Louisiana Superdome

Ohio State 31 - Arkansas 26

Hogs rally from 28 -3 to almost win this one. If we had run in the blocked punt late in the game it would have happened. Mallets final play as a Razorback - Interception!!

$10 tickets!!

Great Trip with the Spradley Boys and Blair

My Bowl Record as of 1/4/2011 is 2 for 15
